Wilkes University welcomes over 600 students into the class of 2021.

Seven undergraduate students are granted President's Fellowships for Summer Research in 2017. The fellowships, administered by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, offer each student the chance to partner with a faculty mentor to complete a research project during the summer. Each project was proposed and designed by the student and their faculty mentor.

Seton Hall University is pleased to announce the following students who qualified for Spring 2017 Dean's list and to congratulate them for their outstanding academic achievements. Qualifications for Dean's list include enrolling as a full-time matriculated student with a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits, completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4 or above, and with no grades lower than "C".

Albright College held its 158th Commencement ceremony on May 21, 2017. Diplomas were awarded to traditional, Accelerated Degree Programs and master's degree students.

Nurse pinning ceremony recognized the students who have completed the requirements for a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

Elmira College celebrated the graduation of 328 students during its 162nd Commencement on Sunday, June 4 at the Murray Athletic Center, Pine Valley. The exercises included the conferring of 296 undergraduate and 32 graduate degrees.

A total of 1,409 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2017 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 700 students during the summer and fall terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. The following students have been awarded degrees since the summer 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Accounting students at Wilkes University's Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership will offer free tax assistance to the public through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.
